Water is the essence of life, yet it is one of the most undervalued and misused resources on our planet. As someone who has dedicated my career to water and wastewater treatment, I have witnessed firsthand the challenges and opportunities in preserving this precious resource. My journey began with a deep academic interest in Microbiology, which led me to explore the transformative potential of MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) technology during my dissertation. Since 2016, I have been passionately engaged in designing and implementing sustainable solutions for water recycling and wastewater treatment at Velesolv Envirotech Pvt Ltd.

But my commitment to water goes beyond professional expertise. Personally, I am deeply conscious of every drop of water. Whether it’s a leaking tap or an overflowing tank, I feel the pain of water loss as acutely as one would for a loved one. This sensitivity drives my mission to create a world where water is respected, conserved, and reused efficiently.

Water is not just a resource; it is a legacy. My journey in the field of wastewater treatment began on the ground, as an ETP operator. Over the years, I have had the privilege of learning the intricacies of wastewater treatment plants through hands-on experience, practical problem-solving, and a deep understanding of the systems that make them work. Today, as the Director of Velesolv Envirotech Pvt Ltd, I oversee the finance, operations, and maintenance of ETP/STP plants, while also designing solutions that address the unique challenges of our clients.

What sets me apart is my ground-up approach. I understand the physiology of wastewater treatment plants in and out as have worked with each heriarchy of management. This practical knowledge allows me to diagnose problems at their root and design systems that are not only efficient but also sustainable. Risk-taking is in my blood, and I believe that innovation often comes from stepping into the unknown and learning by doing.

As the son of a farmer, I have witnessed firsthand how water and pollution can drastically impact agriculture. This understanding drives my commitment to creating solutions that not only treat wastewater but also protect and preserve the natural resources that sustain our livelihoods. Water is the lifeline of agriculture, and I am passionate about ensuring its availability and quality for future generations.

For me, water is more than just a profession; it’s a personal mission. My son’s name, Jal (which means water), is a constant reminder of the legacy I aim to build. I envision a future where our work at Velesolv Envirotech not only solves today’s water challenges but also creates a sustainable world for the next generation.
